I'm glad I held off for an entire twenty-four hours after the two covers for the latest issue of Man About Town magazine made themselves known, because I've got more pictures of Rocketman stars Taron Egerton & Jamie Bell being all snoggy to share than I would have! Just like Sting said, holding out for as long as you can will give you better orgasms! Hit the jumpfor the entire shoot (which funny enough was photographed by Brooklyn "Son of David" Beckham, of all people)...
It's David Beckham's birthday today and so I thought it would be a nice way to celebrate and to start the day by stepping into the way-back beefcake machine to 2007 and the photo-shoot the footballer did for W Magazine that year - especially since I stumbled upon video of the shoot that I don't remember ever seeing before!
.
.
I'd posted the pictures from the shoot back in the day, you can see the original posts here and here, or here this is even easier I'll just post them right here after the jump along with a few gifs from the video, some one stop Becks shopping. Hit the jump for it...
That isn't a new picture (both of them look fairly fresh faced there) but it is a picture of Orlando Bloom kissing David Beckham, so we won't see anything we like more than that today, I sincerely doubt. Mario Testino took this picture and it's included in his book titled SIR, which is all pics of menfolk, and even if it's just 300 pages of that picture on every page it's probably still worth owning.
Charlie knows I love him, so I can get away with saying I'm not nuts about this new photo-shoot of him for Mr. Porter (thanks Mac) - something about it feels like Bert from Sesame Street doing a Fight Club parody to me.
But the interview's not a bad read -- he tells us that he developed a crush on David Beckham after working with him on the King Arthur movie, and he tells us that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is his next door neighbor, thereby fueling all kinds of "borrowing a cup of sugar" fantasies. Good stuff! Hit the jump for the rest of the photos...
A few new stills (including that wondrously porny one above) from Charlie's King Arthur movie with Guy Ritchie at the helm have been released (via) -- don't you kind of feel as if this movie already came out? But it hasn't! It doesn't come out until mid-May, apparently.
If they say so. I swear I saw it in the discount bin beside the registers at the drugstore, but sure. (Jesus I'm an asshole - Charlie's never going to whisk me away to Italy for a whirlwind boink-fest with all this sass getting in the way.)
In related (and much much more unattractive) news David Beckham, as you may know, has a small role in the movie, and he shared a picture of his make-up for it on his Instagram. It's a lot of look!
Y'all know I have no issues with the sexiness of David Beckham -- we've been documenting that shit for years. But come on, man.
COME ON! So we're just gonna pretend that this new photo-shoot for Men's Health is really in honor of Idris' deserved title, "International Ambassador of All The Sex Stuff Ever." That's a better one anyway. Hit the jump for a dozen more more shots...
On Instagram the other day David Beckham posted a little behind-the-scenes video of himself and Kevin Hart working (half-naked, natch) on a shoot for Becks' clothing line, so we must ask...
When attending a screening of a short film about a motorcycle stuntman (via) one clearly needs to wear one's best black tee, but between David Beckham and Justin Theroux (aka the place we'd all like to be)...
I want you to pretend you're Guy Ritchie! That's easy enough for me, as I too have spent the last several years running away from Madonna while imagining Charlie Hunnam in leather pants. But for the purposes of this post I'm asking us to pretend we were Guy Ritchie this past weekend at some wedding or something where he and his Man From UNCLE stars Henry Cavill & Armie Hammer were spotted hanging out with David Beckham.
Using the word "spotted" is a bit of misdirection since they were "spotted" on each other's Instagram accounts, but whatever. The point is you are Guy Ritchie and in front of you are Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, and David Beckham. Now you must choose! Do, Dump or Marry 'em in the comments!
(Seems we already know who the Real Guy Ritchie picked.)
--- I Of Mordo - I had totally forgotten that there was talk of Chiwetel Ejiofor taking a role in Marvel's Doctor Strange movie once upon a time but here it is and it is true!
He's playing a bad guy called Baron Mordo, which is... quite the
name. Anyway for those of you keeping track, this means there's a Marvel
superhero movie about to be filmed that is going to star Benedict
Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Holy shitballs. .
--- Happy Haneke - The Film Stage shares the list of Michael Haneke's 10 favorite films, which includes some Chaplin, Some Antonioni, some Psycho and Salo oh my. (Thanks Mac.) The list is topped by two Robert bresson movies, neither of which I have seen, called Lancelot of the Lake and Au hasard Balthazar - have any of you seen them? Truth be told looking through his filmography it appears that I have never seen a Bresson film, period. The horror! What one should I watch first? Pickpocket maybe?
. --- A Kick In The Pants - A second trailer for The Man From UNCLEhas been released and again, it makes me yawn. Not a second of Henry or Hammer skin, and they never not once make out - what a farce. The girls (Elizabeth Debicki and Alicia Vikander) both seem promising and fun, though. (After the one-two punch of Gatsby and seeing her on stage in The Maids I loooove Debicki, by the way.) Oh there is one good shot of somebody's butt (maybe Armie?) in rather snug pants though... .
--- Speaking Of Guy Ritchie and "it will never be gay enough for me until there is straight-up on-screen penetration" news, none other than David Beckham, soccer star, has just joined the cast of the currently-filming King Arthur movie with Charlie Hunnam. I'm guessing it's a small role, and let's hope it's super similar to the underwear commercial that Guy Ritchie shot for Becks that one time - maybe he's teaching Charlie how to run in soaking wet underpants? .
--- Hartnett Hard Body - Oh my god there are Penny Dreadful action figures! (Thanks Mac) They're made for ComiCon and there's only Josh Hartnett and Eva Green, so far... and that's the only time in the history of ever that the phrase "only Josh Hartnett and Eva Green" has been spoken or ever will be spoken again. I do want a Dr. Frankenstein one though so I can mash Josh on him. . --- And Speaking of the good Doctor Frank, the Victor Frankenstein movie starring James McAvoy just got a release date of Thanksgiving this year, and BD shares a couple of on pictures from the set that are rather fine. (Meaning they have McAvoy & Radcliffe in them, therefore they are, by definition, fine.)
--- And Finally instead of just updating yesterday's post that had a German version of the trailer for the Lance Armstrong bio-pic The Program starring Ben Foster (which got pulled off-line, until it wasn't) here I will share the now-released American version of the trailer which is exactly the same only the type's now in English.
This underwear commercial spoof that James Corden did with Becks is apparently an entire week old? I totally missed it. Does Corden's show have that little buzz, or am I just totally out of it? Anyway damn you James Corden - still up to his gay shenanigans with dudes I wanna have my own shenanigans with. Hit the jump for the video and more pictures...
Ahhhhh. Every time I see David Beckham in his underwear now my first reaction (save this) is phew, we got another look. I keep worrying every time will be the last time; he keeps threatening to stop since he's an ancient 39 years old now. So cherish these!
Not that this batch is giving us much to work with - save that shot up at the very top he's pretty much clothed in every picture! Alright alright I won't complain, I'll lap up what I'm offered like a good boy. Hit the jump for seven more pictures...
Short of posting pictures of actors wearing diapers, which is a google search I just don't have any desire to make, seems to me a fine way to ring in the New Years a la the iconic Baby New Year is to steal our own Father's Day tradition and post some pictures of Hollywood's biggest DILFs with their adorable little ones standing in for Baby 2015-to-be.
"I too quit smoking (2013) AND find this type of pictures cool. Also, PSA: if you're feeling like you want to start smoking again, just remind yourself "I do not want my body and house to stink like stale horseshit", then go drink one more glass of water to entertain your hands and lips. Congrats, btw."
