And God Created Adam

I keep hesitating to do individual posts for every cast announcement that the second season of The White Lotus drops because I have a feeling we'll be getting several of these in a short span of time as the series ramps up towards filming and so forth, and so we have -- last week we heard about Michael Imperioli and Aubrey Plaza, and today comes word of four more. But the chance to post the above photo of one of those names, an actor named Adam DiMarco, pushed me over the edge, for uhh extremely visible reasons. Previously seen on a bunch of shows I have never watched -- namely The Order on Netflix and The Magicians on SyFy -- THR in their announcement actually has details on the character he's playing, alongside details on who the other three actors announced today (F. Murray Abraham! Tom Hollander! Haley Lu f'ing Richardson!) will be playing, but I'll refrain from sharing in case y'all wanna go in fresh. I will spoil one thing -- the new season will apparently be filmed somewhere in Italy! Seriously so jealous that Mike White has figured out a way for paid vacations like this, while inviting men like Adam here along, but given all Mike White has gifted us with over the years it couldn't have happened to a more deserving fella. Adam DiMarco Seven Times

Rather attractive actor Adam DiMarco has moved on from his star-making turn on the second season of The White Lotus to having a main role on the series Overcompensating (which is coming back for a second season) as well as in the buzzy upcoming A24 horror flick Undertone -- he has done all of those things and yet it's this V Man cover that sees me here, finally posting about him again. I like what I like dammit! No but seriously seeing him on that cover yesterday reminded me of two things. One, I haven't mentioned that the great Vincent Cassel joined the next season set in France, and that shall not stand. I'm guessing he's playing the concierge role but just because they're always gay on The White Lotus and I'm always on the look-out for some gay Vincent Cassel.

And two -- no one named for the new season yet has been someone who's played a character from an earlier season and that's making me sad. Are y'all fans of the recurring character thing? If no, would you be if it didn't have anything to do with Jennifer Coolidge's character this time? I imagine some people feel the Tanya / Greg thing's been played out -- personally I'd love for DiMarco's character Albie to show up with Haley Lu Richardson's Portia again, which would probably entail some more Tanya stuff but if we got to see Adam clenching his butt-cheeks whilst orgasming again wouldn't it be worth it? I knew I should do somebody from The White Lotus for this Friday morning before the second season finale's "Good Morning" post, and I realized that I (very oddly) haven't posted much about adorable actor Adam DiMarco who plays sweet cuck Albie on the show, so I went looking and found these (via) -- photos of him and his The Order co-star Sean Depner dressed as Elio and Oliver in Call Be By Your Name for Halloween in 2018 and, uhhhh, has there ever been anything more suited to a post from me? The second actor Leo Woodall scratched his bare butt on last night's latest episode of The White Lotus I knew my "Good Morning, World" post was accounted for! Thank you Leo and thank you (forever and ever) Mike White. I won't get into specifics since some of you might be behind...

I'll just say I think this season's a ton of fun and I have absolutely no idea what's going to happen in the final two episodes which is as always a delight. I like being surprised!
