Good Morning, World

I didn't intend to take a Heated Rivalry break here on the site for however long it's been -- no you people who hated on the show in the comments constantly didn't win, sorry -- I've just been... let's say "scattered" lately. That's a nice word for it. Nicer than "wanting to crawl in a very deep dark hole and die" anyway which is far closer to the truth. There's no fun in that, though -- I'd prefer to try and be helpful at keeping everybody's moods up, everybody's minds off all the bullshit, be some sort of oasis in the desert of 2026. It's been a hard couple of weeks at managing all that, is all. Not doing great, Bob! Anyway I do have these photos of Connor Storrie looking ridiculously gorgeous for Vogue (via) so perhaps these'll slap some sunshine on me, you, somebody, this morning. And hey it's Friday! That's gotta count for something too. Hit the jump for the rest...

Great shoot. I feel ya on the past few weeks. I think anyone paying attention is feeling it. A collective awareness of the bleak reality.

You had me at “ridiculously gorgeous.” What a masterpiece of allure and photography!

Well my mood is up!

Honestly, I really don't get his appeal at all beyond that remarkable body; he really creeps me out.

Me neither, then I read a comment saying that he looked a lot like Buffalo Bill from The Silence of the Lambs, and now I can't stop seeing the resemblance.

He stole the Injured Stripper sketch he performed on SNL from improv teacher Stephnie Weir, who was a cast member on MADtv and uses it repeatedly in her classes.
The original sketch even made it onto an episode of MADtv years ago; I think it's on YouTube.
And his fans claim it's his own creation LOL.

Since the haters on this blog tend to make things up all the time, is there a legitimate source for your claim that Connor took the idea for the Injured Stripper sketch from another actor or comedian?

Also, even if what you are saying is true, it may be that Connor knows he borrowed this idea and would acknowledge that. In the arts, actors, comedians and writers borrow from each other all the time. As long as they don’t try to claim that they created the idea, there is nothing wrong with an actor or comedian borrowing ideas from other actors or comedians.

why is the styling of Conner and Hudson so bad... The tucked in turtle neck and and highwaisted pants look like a custom from the film Her

No Shade, but Connor really looks like Buffalo Bill.

Jealous, much?

More nonsense from a hater. Connor looks nothing like Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs.

Gotta love how much drooling and slavering goes on here but pose a dissenting opinion and you're automatically pegged as a "hater". Grow up, girls...

Maybe not, but the creepy vibe is the same

Listen I'm cutting us all some slack on bitchy comments here on this site these days because we're all fucking fucked and I understand feeling crazy and in a bad mood, do I ever. And this in its way helps us let off some steam since we can't set the world on fire (any more than it already is). But let's keep things in perspective, please. Don't get too nasty.

I usually in the past have drawn a hard line at mean comments and have just deleted them. Which is just to say - let's be friends! Friends who can totally be bitchy about each other's likes, but in a fun way. None of this shit is worth being so serious about

Sorry, saying that Connor looks like Buffalo Bill is not a “dissenting opinion”. It’s just making something up that is objectively not true. A dissenting opinion would be to say you don’t think Connor is good looking or that he just doesn’t do it for you.

In general, everyone on that show is overrated and overhyped, IMHO!
