Even when Kit Harington showed his world-class ass on Industry it wasn't enough to get me to start watching the show -- even though people whose opinions I trust very much say the show is worth watching I'm not super drawn towards watching a show about investment bankers; I hated every second of Succession that I watched and people kept insisting that was great. I have a weird chip on my shoulder when it comes to "entertainment" about despicable monied people -- it's why I hated The Wolf of Wall Street and haven't been able to make myself re-watch it to reassess. I just don't find it easy to find such people's antics or quirks charming. But all of that goes right out the window if they have Kit Harington doing gay stuff -- I am after all a simple man. The simplest! So the glimpse of that possibility in the trailer for the fourth season (seen below) has me adding Industry to my queue. Do you watch it? Thoughts?

I couldn't get past the pilot of SUCCESSION for the very reasons you mentioned, but I have eaten up every second of INDUSTRY. I think it's the London location as opposed to NYC, which is (too close to) home, and the fact that it's not about a family of snakes. Whatever the reason, you should watch it.
PS. Don't expect gay stuff with Kit, no matter what that trailer is suggesting.
I agree with everything you say about Succession and mostly it's the same with Industry, except periodically more titillating. The characters remain despicable even after the actors try to humanize them.
I think Industry is an excellent show. The first season was very good and then it got better and better with each season. Also the performances are amazing, specially Marisa Abela. But again I think The Wolf of Wall Street is fantastic and loved Sucession so maybe you won’t like it.

Industry is one of my favorite shows and you should be watching it. Aside from being loaded with beautiful people (where's my David Jonsson coverage Jason?! Harry Lawley?) it's a fascinating watch. I know next to nothing about financial crap and I still find it riveting.
Just watched the preview-Kal Penn and Max Minghella are on it now? Can this show get any better?
Love this show, if for nothing else than the performances. Will miss Harry Lawty though.
It took me a while to get into it for the very reasons youre hesitant to start, but it eventually clicked for me. Im still confused by half of what they talk about, but Marisa Abela is so good you just roll with it.
