I guess the little nip of a taste of awards heat that Zendaya felt for her work in Challengers got to her because she's signed up for the surest thing going, nomination-wise -- a music biopic! She's going to star in a movie about the legendary singer Ronnie Spector. Thankfully she's hauling along some Grade A behind-the-scenes talent to make it happen though -- it will be written by Bones and All and Suspiria scribe Dave Kajganich (so one of Luca's right hand men) and it will be directed by, drum roll please, one Mr. Barry Jenkins! And the crowd goes wild. That's the good shit right there. So happy to have Barry off of Disney live-action-ing duties. Ronnie Spector of course had a wild life and the film will focus in on the wildest part, her marriage and partnership with Phil Spector. So uhh who plays Phil then? Any casting suggestions?

Tom Holland, from the looks of that photo of Phil and Ronnie. Just kidding, what we need is a young John Turturro. Mike Faist has the face and the chops (and the right age), actually.
Zendaya, one of the most boring, basic and overrated actresses in Hollywood that's my personal opinion.
I work as a makeup artist on a few films and I've heard she's an Industry Plant, just like Timmy C, Paul Mescal, Josh O'connor and Anya Taylor Joy (I worked with Anya and she's an insufferable rich white girl).
Plus I have also worked on a Netflix project where Zane Phillips was also there (I didn't do his makeup but I did meet him) and it is true that he is a SexW and he used to have a relationship with a Netflix executive and everyone had to give him special treatment and he got another actor fired (interestingly that actor got to work with Luca Guadagnino because of that) to have that role, he is very fake and pretentious.
Another instance in which I must ask: Why does Hollywood keep casting Zendaya when there's a perfectly good Keke Palmer right there?
Paul Dano or Jamie Bell but it'll probably one of the it boys Elordi,Allen White Mescal because casting directors have no imagination and think we all worship these new ones and not all of us do.
For the love of GOD, enough with this Zendaya.

I believe Ronnie Spector hand selected Zendaya to play her in a biopic before she died. Also Ronnie was biracial, and Keke is not (love Keke though)
