Happy Monday... well you know. All things depending. I think we all feel like Patrick Schwarzenegger in this scene from last night's White Lotus these days -- a little sick, a little terrified, every time we wake up -- and who can blame us? Mike White tapping into the zeitgeist in a way only he could! Chaos reigns at home and abroad and entertainmentally speaking. Good times. I suppose this is where I ask y'all what you though of that episode if you watched it? I'm trying to be non-spoilery although these two gifs obviously say a little bit! Feel free to jump in in the comments, and I'll even give you a bouncing off point here with Sam Nivola's lil' bum...

It was definitely a transitional episode, but it really left us hanging, too. I had a feeling there was something incestuous about that family, and I have a feeling where things are going, but a friend of mine has another idea and we know how things can change fast in this series. Can’t wait for the next one!
A great episode, and it amazes me (not really) how online pearls are being clutched about certain familial developments.
Sam Nivola’s homage to his Dad in Laurel Canyon (see posted image) was cute. But in a Who Wore it Better comparison, I would vote for Alessandro’s ass.

What I loved is that it is less about the taboo subject and more about the thin veneer of power that "bros" paper over a gaping hole of soullessness and fear. He spends all his days swinging his proverbial meat, talking the talk, crossing all kinds of lines verbally, but he is crushed by anything actually happening.
What Tom M said (great take). The entire episode made me so tense, just kept waiting for the shoes to drop.
