Oddity was one of last year's absolute best horror movies -- here is my review and it's available on blu-ray and it's streaming on Shudder; go watch it if you haven't yet! I couldn't love it more. Anyway great news today that the film's director Damian McCarthy (who also made the ace 2020 spook-fest Caveat) has lined up his next movie -- it's to be titled Hokum and it will star Adam Scott! It sounds very Stephen-Kingy too -- Scott will play a horror author who goes to a secluded cabin to scatter his parents ashes only to discover the cabin is haunted by a witch! Great title, great plot, great actor, great great director -- we are there!
