Suck Me Dry Tilda

Hopefully this'll fare better release-wise than Julie Delpy's real-life pseudo vampire-queen Elizabeth Bathory movie The Countess, but via here (via BD) comes word that none less than Tilda Swinton will be slipping into a tub of virgin blood in what sounds to be an... unconventional... take on the Countess' sordid story. You'll get the unconventional part if you click that link where this list of characters is rattled off:

"... a vegetarian vampire who refuses to follow family traditions, his therapist, two wacky vampirologists, some members of the dueling fraternity "Vampiria", an all-female music ensemble, and many more."

But I hope for all the inevitably esoteric wackiness that Tilda actually gets to really tap into her well of creepiness, because she could make for a spectacularly scary villain if she ever gets to really go for it. She had moments in that Narnia movie where you could feel it coming on. Hell she has moments in all her movies where you feel it - it's an inherent part of her amazing, intimidating, alien presence. Anyway - making this still awesomer news? Tilda's got a co-star named Isabelle Huppert.
