I don't really have much to say about it, strangely. Unlike what I've been hearing I actually liked the way it was structured, with the ultimate Maryann show-down in the center of the episode and the lulls that surrounded that. Loved Sam's bullish trickery and Maryann's (brief) embrace of death. Seriously - that scene kicked mountains of ass (
most of it Sam's). Loved Eric playing engorged Yahtzee and ERW was slightly less awful than she was in her first episode. And because I still adore Bill and Sookie I enjoyed their romantical-moments-that-weren't and am intrigued by what may lie ahead. I seem to have less problems with it than most people did.
"IT'S DIET COKE WITH LIME!!!"
And y'all?

quick...change "then" to "than" in the last sentence...I know it was an accident;o)
I loved it. The Mary-Anne arch left them with much to tidy up before moving on which wasn't super exciting but well done. They also had to go back to Bill and Suki so that things can get shaken up next season. I think this set up what should be a kick ass first episode
True Blood is Showtime at its worst. (Yes, I know it's on HBO.)
I can't comment on Season 2, ok, Season 1 didn't exactly live up to the hype but there were some 'holy shit' moments and of course Ryan Kwanten (Jason)being 1/2 naked most of the time is a major plus. But HBO at it's worst?
