Take It All Off, Boys! (Including Your Skin)

.
From an interview with Pandorum director Paul W.S. Anderson at MTV comes this tidbit on his film's costar Cam Gigandet:

“For fans of Twilight, there’s a scene where Cam’s completely naked,” Paul said. “He’s covered in blood, of course. There’s more Cam nudity in this than there is in Twilight!”

Not that I really know anything about Twilight besides what Aaron tells me and what the media pummels me with on a daily basis, but besides some romance-novel-cover-esque shirtlessness does anyone really expect hardcore nakedness from that tween franchise? I ask with all seriousness because I might have to reconsider my stance.

Seriously though, I do always appreciate a good naked-and-covered-in-blood moment. And just last week I tried too find frames of those shots of Cam's Pandorum co-star Ben Foster in his underpants peeling away his skin because that'd ceased being gross and has turned into me just appreciating seeing Ben Foster in his underpants. But I couldn't find any clear images of that. The world's loss.

But do those shots - you can watch a little of it right here in motion - remind anyone else of rubbing Elmer's Glue on your hands and then peeling it off like layers of skin? Because that's all I see and then I get this phantom dizziness from the smell and realize that we were a bunch of crackheads as children. Crackheads!

Paul W.S. Anderson directed it though? :\

Yeah, he's not exactly the most inspiring director. But he did direct the first Resident Evil and Event Horizon and both of those are fun genre flicks. So... that's something. Also he just married Milla and I dig her, so another plus for him.
