Calvaire was alright, from what I remember; my memory is foggy on that one.
Vinyan, on the other hand,
stunk up the joint and made me angry. And now those films' director, a Belgian fellow by the name of
Fabrice Du Welz, has gone and snatched one of my fave young actors out from the void so this warrants my attention. Via
STYD:
"Described as "another exploration of the world of madness," the psychological thriller is called More and he's pulled in Brady Corbet (Funny Games) to star. Du Welz will re-team with director of photography Benoit Debie. Shooting is expected to begin in the U.S. in March.
Du Welz tells ShockTillYouDrop.com he can't reveal plot details at this time, however, "It's based on real event, it's gonna be extreme and it's happens in the art world in New York.""

Oh Brady, what voodoo spell did Joe Gordon-Levitt cast to steal all the
Mysterious Skin hype? You were just as good as he was in it. Now he's Mr. Actor and you're... where the heck are you? The last thing I saw you in was that brief, went-nowhere stint on
24. Oh and you did a terrific job in Michael Haneke's
Funny Games remake too. Hrm. JGL is a buzz-vacuum!
Well maybe this will be something. And it will lead to something. Something something. Something.

It would be nice if Brady Corbet got a decent role. I liked him very much in "Mysterious Skin" and on "24" back when I used to watch "24." He's cute too!
