I thought the script was kind of... meh.

The script really did have some problems, but Ellen Page was fucking TERRIFYING, and it was shot really well, so all of that mostly distracted from the weaknesses story-wise. There were still moments, dialogue-wise, where my eyes were rollin, but Wilson and Page especially were pretty good at selling them.
