The Big Bailey Bounce

Posting back to back Jonny Bailey photos won't do anything for those of you complaining he's overexposed but as far as I'm concerned unless he's in this outfit at this link Jonathan Bailey is never exposed enough dammit. Aaaaanyway I am just using Jonny as a fare-thee-well unto the weekend as I'm off to completely collapse mentally and physically for the next two days -- I don't know about you but this week felt one million hundred years long and I am planning to sleep like a motherfucker. Next week we'll finally start with the Sundance content but for now, I gift myself a small extremely needed breather. Have a good weekend and treat yourselves well. We're all we've got. Us and Jonny!

I do think Bailey is getting overexposed. What isn't he in? I get the gay representation thing BUT for the longevity of his career maybe he should take a couple of years off and just do Johnathan. Travel, read, rest, self-improvement, cook, get laid more often...

anyone complaining that he's overexposed should just filter and be quiet.

If he is not feeling burnt out then why should we worry? Show business is extremely fickle, who’s hot and who’s not can shift on a dime. If you’re in demand, you work as much as possible. Not many people are in the position to take a few years off, doing so could mean he’s yesterday’s news and his career stalls.

I have hoped for many years that we could have performers be out and proud and still be successful and nor get pigeonholed or have it kill their career. Now that it’s happening people are bitching that a successful out gay actor is “overexposed”? Please stop with this.

Are you directing your comments to me? If so, sit down. All opinions are welcomed even though they may not be in your worldview.

"What isn't he in?" Stupid question, even if #sarcasm. In any event, as Sebastian Stan has recently noted re: "overexposure," actors don't control the release dates of their film/TV projects, and this is especially the case in the aftermath of a global pandemic and two industry strikes.

As for Jonathan Bailey, more more more please. I'm a little nervous about the Jurassic thing, but guess what? I wouldn't even be planning to see it if he weren't in it.

If we are going to talk about over exposed let’s talk about Timothée Chalamet. He has a new project coming out regularly. It seems almost weekly to me.

As Matt pointed out an actors career can collapse with little warning. I don’t begrudge them making as much as they can while they can.
