No Lohan

I like Lindsay Lohan, I can't help myself. It might just be that out of the current dire slate of young "actresses" she's one with a modicum of talent, but I do find myself rooting for her every so often. I also feel bad for her that her father's such a skeez and that her mother seems so desperate to act like her really cool best friend instead of her mother.

But, Lindsay as Wonder Woman? Not so much. WW is, well, a Woman, not a girl. Linsday has the curves every so often, when she's not on her "very special Hollywood diet", but not the height or... the presence, really. She just seems small.

I think this story's probably just a publicity grab, anyway, and there isn't much of a chance of it happening, but Joss? If you're listening? No. You know better.

Speaking of the status Wonder Woman, though, I actually sort of have an insider's word that the chances for Joss getting a greenlight are pretty slim. Which makes me sad. But the word from out in L.A. is decidedly not good. Give Joss a chance, people! Sure, Serenity was a disappointment financially (though the movie itself was awesome), but it had limited appeal anyway; give Joss a property the world's ready to embrace and let him run with it. WW could be huge, if done right, and Joss is the man to do her right.

And, the woman to do her right? Ahem *cough* ahem:

Sure, Charisma Carpenter is hardly a household name, but who-the-hell ever heard of Brandon Routh?
