"I too quit smoking (2013) AND find this type of pictures cool. Also, PSA: if you're feeling like you want to start smoking again, just remind yourself "I do not want my body and house to stink like stale horseshit", then go drink one more glass of water to entertain your hands and lips. Congrats, btw."--- Anonymous congratulates us on another year of not smoking, which we celebrated with an enormous photo-dump of sexy smoking pictures as we're wont to do, annually. .

The only thing I didn't like about Twin Peaks was the end of the first season when the murder of Laura Palmer wasn't solved. It was amazing television at the time but honestly my favorite thing was the music. The haunting main theme and the achingly beautiful Laura's theme sent me running to find the tv soundtrack album which I still listen to along with the music from most all of Lynch's films. Lynch's partnership with Angelo Baldamenti for me compares to the great partnership of Hitchcock and Herrmann. Can't imagine Lynch's movies and tv without Baldementi.
The Log Lady's final speech in "The Return" floored me.
Audrey's dance in the diner. Jerry Horne's smoked cheese pig (not to mention the fresh baguette with brie). Pie and coffee at the Double RR. The Book House Boys. Joan Chen offering "Would you like a cup of Joe"? Garmonbozia. Stop me before I kill again.
I loved the series greatly and all its weirdness. I have to agree that the music is what has stayed with me and still affects me. I can't imagine Twin Peaks without that musci.
The music.
