Alexander Skarsgård Nine Times

So has Pillion opened in a theater near you yet? Keeping up with this relentless release has been a thorn in my side for months and months and I'm honestly just glad that as of this week or next it will I think finally have expanded as far as it will be expanding and we can move on to the 4K blu-ray with X-rated deleted scenes being released. That's not even me being my usual just-making-shit-up self -- they're the ones who made that shit up for headlines (see here). The only excised footage we've gotten any confirmation on existing is a straight-on shot of Alex's pierced prosthetic and honestly -- it's a fake penis, who cares? I am curious if the version y'all are seeing in theaters is the same one I saw (and reviewed!) at NYFF though. Anyway stay tuned for physical media news on this probably in the near-ish future -- I already told you that the terrific score is being released by A24 on vinyl, check that news here. Until then we've got this new photoshoot (via) of big boy Alex looking very handsome and unfortunately very clothed after the jump...

I'm so glad I live where it opened last week, and I'm so glad I saw this in the theater with an appreciative audience. It felt like going to the cinema in the 90s to see like Poison or Go Fish or some Almovodar or Araki, etc.

MORE PLEASE

I live in Denver, and the film is opening only in two theaters so far. I will be seeing it on Sunday at the magnificent Myan Theater. The theater was restored years ago and brought back to the original grand design. But I digress.

Concerning the penis thing. I am so tired of the trend now of men to go full frontal, and they chicken out and use a prosthetic. I am not a size queen. I have been in healthcare for a minute and even worked in a urology clinic for six years. I have seen my fair share of dicks. They come in all different shapes and sizes, circumcised and uncircumcised. Really, for me, it's what's in the guy's heart. Does he treat people well and love his mother? I can deal with the dick he has. Women have been showing the goods forever. It's time for men to step up.

I live outside San Francisco and the wider release of Pillion is not a wider release "really". Two weeks ago one would have to travel 40 miles to see it. The wider release does give more theatre options, but you still have to travel 40 milesto see it. WTF? I saw Queer 5 minutes from my house.
