Michael Shannon IS good in Nuremberg -- maybe the only thing good about it? Well him and Leo Woodall in an old-timey tank-top.
Shame he's out of the Oscar talk because the film is too old school film making.
Did you review Hamnet and/or did you like it?
I haven't reviewed Hamnet yet, Jim! Tbh it was after my screening of that movie where I had my fall and sprained my ankle and kind of got sidelined haha. So I feel as if I want to see it again before I write about it. I will admit to mixed, but mostly positive, feelings. Some of it doesn't work for me, a lot does, and some I just haven't worked out yet. Anyway it's worth seeing!
I will look forward to your review. I had the same mixed emotions bc in some ways very abstract, raw and elemental (may I say earthy), but in the wash (and after some unforced rumination) I am like you mostly positive. Thank you very much, Jason! (Hope your ankle is healing nicely)
is it okay to say that I haven't seen bc can't stand Rami esp. after his snl level portrayal of Freddie Mercury (for which he won an Oscar!)
