When a Spider-boy Becomes a Spider-man

.
Well I tried to cram as much content as I could into this here two day work week, but we've reached the end of the road - we're off for another long weekend. We're seeing the Spider-man movie on Saturday and we'll probably go see A Ghost Story a second time so the boyfriend can see it this time around and also so I can cry for ninety straight minutes because I love doing that so much (here's my review in case you missed it) -- y'all can please go ahead and tell us what you think of either of those things in the comments!

But since the week's over so quick let me link you to a few of the week's highlights, so it feels like we did accomplish something, slash give you something to look at. Michael Fassbender was on a boat! Twice! We found Alexander Skarsgard's Instagram account! Lesbian Vampires! The guys of Game of Thrones had a sword fight! Scary movie library stuff! Most importantly I asked y'all to tell me what gay characters in the movies you most identify with -- please share, I really want to hear that! And everybody, including Tom Holland, have a good weekend. Next week is my birthday week so we'll probably be especially fragile and crazy, so stay tuned.

This kid is so ugly. And did he hit the gym at all for this role? How are you gonna look 14 at 21?

I'm not going to see either of those - can I leave comments about what I thought about 'The Big Sick' once I see it?

He is ADORABLE.

Me thinks he's way too skinny even for Spiderman. Kid, you'd better eat more and put on 3-4 more pounds and then we'll talk!

He's supposed to be 15, how buff do you want him? None of the reviews I have read mention the obvious if not down right blatant reference to Birdman. I thought it quite droll considering the likely low audience overlap.

I think we are over-saturated in superhero movies, but I really liked the new Spiderman. Holland fits the role perfectly and I'm glad he's not Thor buffed (he is supposed to be like 15 years old), although he is still very fit. It's a surprisingly sweet movie and Holland is much a much better Spidey than both Toby M & Andrew G.

How the fuck is Tom Holland 21 years old? Does he have some kind of hormonal imbalance or disease?

Skinny and ugly, that's all!

Oh to be as skinny and ugly as Tom Holland.

He's not ugly...he's just not attractive especially when he smiles with that lock-jaw persona. And yeah, he seriously needs to fatten up a bit.
