"For me it's always Strangers on a Train that I thought of when I saw her. She's charming in Stage Fright but Strangers was the best role she had... It is too bad she didn't act more since she had a sure comic touch. But she can't be faulted for choosing to concentrate on raising her family, especially since she was always so willing to share her memories of her parents at any time.."--- That's reader Joel memorializing an MNPP Forever Fave with the death of Patricia Hitchcock, daughter to Alfred & Alma and an always welcome screen-presence that we totally adored. Dressed To Kill?
Nope not Dressed To Kill
Still of the night
You got it, Jennifer! STILL OF THE NIGHT is the movie.
Has anybody seen this? I never have an am curious.
It is the single most slavish Hitchcock tribute I have ever seen. Not at all a bad thing. And it's about as hot as Meryl has ever been; the Hitchcock blonde drag absolutely suits her. The story is pretty generic and the psychiatry is beyond dated but it has some absolutely effective suspense scenes that are perfect copies of Hitchcock's style.
