I was supposed to see Promising Young Woman at a screening in March right as the pandemic was shutting everything down -- I decided at the last minute I wasn't comfortable going to the screening, figuring hey, how long could this shit last, maybe a month? Remember being that naive? Sigh. Anyway! Today we have news on the Carey Mulligan film and apologies if I look at its release date with more skepticism this go-round -- Focus says they are releasing it in theaters on Christmas Day. We will see! But they've given us that new poster up top and below, a new trailer. (The original trailer, way back when, got dropped here.) Watch:
