Did I even know that Joe Alwyn is in Boy Erased? I don't remember if I knew that or not. I went into this new piece on him for W Magazine expecting all the talk to be of The Favourite - which he is most assuredly in, as my photos from the NYFF press screening can attest to - and instead I get word that "despite his relatively short time onscreen, he practically steals Boy Erased." Who knew? Okay. I'm seeing that next week so I guess I'll find out then. (ETA a glance through our Joe Archives indicates that yes, I already knew this.
