Criterion has officially announced what John Waters told us was happening last month - his masterpiece Female Trouble is getting the deluxe treatment, hitting stands (are there still things called "stands" anymore?) on June 26th! All the details are on their website but the biggie I think is it's a 4K restoration - I can't even imagine Female Trouble looking... clean? Imagine the poor technician whose job it was to scrape digital junk off of Gator's junk. What a world! Anyway there will also be deleted scenes and on-set footage and a whole buncha stuff. Check it out!

I just checked their site an hour ago and they hadn’t yet announced the new titles. How great! Another reason to hope I’m not killed before June. I’m still puzzled ast to why I haven’t seen this one yet.
