The fine folks at Scream Factory have gotten their beautifully and blessedly grubby paws onto John Waters' 1994 comic masterpiece Serial Mom (aka his second greatest movie) and they are dropping a great big fancy blu-ray onto us for Mother's Day like pussywillows from heaven! Fuck-faces of the world rejoice!
The movie will have new interviews with Waters and Kathleen Turner and Mink Stole, and two commentaries - one with John & Kathleen together and a second one with just John. Plus plenty more special features - click on over to Scream Factory to read about them all. And if you pre-order the disc from them early enough you could get it two weeks early plus a limited-edition poster for the movie! I hope this is just the start of John Waters' films getting the blu-ray treatment -- most of them are only on DVD and most of the DVDs are long out of print!

Ordered - thank you for the update. I was just checking out he Blu Rays YESTERDAY, thank goodness I didn't buy one.
