So it suddenly seems that there's a good chance I won't be back posting here again until after Thanksgiving (meaning Monday) so if you celebrate Thanksgiving you have a good one... and if you don't, well, eat something anyway - it's good for you. Always Shine is out in NYC & San Francisco this weekend - here's my review of that - it is very good!

I thought "Get stuffed" was a British expression, not an American one. Ah well, cultural exchange and all that.
Relatedly, I've noticed in American blogs an increased use of "bum" for backside/arse/ass. When I was a boy in England we bused to think it hilarious that Americans used "bum" for a tramp or hobo. We used to sing, "Hallelujah! I'm a bum" and think we were getting away with being naughty.
