Werner Herzog's typically curious and delightful and curiously delightful new doc Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World (and yes I have already had that title tattooed across my bum) comes out next week, and in preparation slash celebration of that the IFC Center here in New York has just announced they are screening a great big heaping heap of his non-fictional films, in a series smartly titled "Ecstatic Truths." You can check out the full line-up right here - it is pretty astounding, and I'm gonna go damn broke because of it. I've seen all of the recent stuff and maybe 1/3rd of the older stuff, but the opportunity to see any of these things on a big screen might lure me even into the ones I've seen before. I thought about picking and choosing for you guys, but I couldn't even begin to compile a list of "Ones You Should Definitely See' because my answer to that is "Every Single Thing This Man Has Ever Made."
