Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

... you can learn from:

Catwoman (2004)

Laurel Hedare: I was everything they wanted me to be.
I was never more beautiful. Never more powerful.
And then I turned 40 and they threw me away.

And now you're turning 58, Sharon Stone.
Do you guys think she'll ever get her comeback?

I have a silly facebook page about demanding Angelina Jolie's return as Lara Croft and recently wrote smt about this subject exactly.
When in the 1930s Mrs Agatha Christie proved that Action and Women go side to side, with her Miss Marple character, a mature woman who solved crimes with her brilliance, it is a shame that 90 years later, #Hollywood is still under the impression that the only women who are capable of action, are 20yearold girls. Mrs Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media herself proved that wrong with Thelma and Louise and The Long Kiss Goodnight.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote "we live in a time where women are equal to men. When men in their late 40s and 50s get to save the world in Action movies, it is only fair for women to do the same?”
And that is very true. All the newest #superheroes are over 40 years old. Paul Rudd in Ant-Man, Ben Affleck as #Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Benedict Cumberbatch Marvel's Dr. Strange. Even videogame adaptation star another mature man in his late 30s, Michael Fassbender.
With last year’s Mad Max (Where Charlize Theron stole the show) Spy Movie with Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne, Trainwreck with funny Woman Amy Schumer and even movies like Jurassic World, where WOMEN and not girls starred and rocked the box office charts, it looks like things are changing. Slowly, but changing. How can the media claim then, that Mrs #AngelinaJoliePitt at 40, is too old to get back as Lara Croft in a new Tomb Raider adventure?
If anything, #LaraCroft wouldn’t stop Tomb Raiding and trying to protect the world from extraordinary and supernatural dangers because of age.

I know she had a poorly rated show on TNT recently so I think she'd do better doing a season-long arc on something like Ray Donovan or Shameless then move on to a show of her own or supporting roles in better movies than she's being doing for the past decade or two. She can be a great actress when she tries as Casino proved.
