Many times when the subject of horror director James Wan has come up I've admitted that I find his obsession with scary dolls silly, but whenever I do profess that I immediately get an image in my mind's eye from Stuart Gordon's 1987 flick Dolls that belies my alleged fearlessness. That is to say I must admit that movie creeps me out. I am not infallible against the doll menace! Good news for bad dreams then - Dolls is coming out in a big fancy blu-ray edition this Fall! It's out on November 11th - I know these things take the time they take to get together but really, why wouldn't you rush this into release two weeks earlier in time for Halloween?
