A very very happy 30th birthday today to the best Spider-Bum around, the one the only Andrew Garfield! We've loved him since way back with Boy A (if you've never seen Boy A, do yourself the favor and change that) so we feel slightly proprietary over him, which's become difficult now that he's a big-ass superhero and stuff. It's not that I'm not looking forward to his second slip into the spandex, obviously I am, but more so I'm looking forward to the other two projects he's got lined up - 99 Homes with Man Push Cart director Ramin Bahrani, and Silence, Martin Scorsese's long-in-the-making monk movie.I think he makes a great Peter Parker (better than the movie around him) but I long to see him really challenge himself some more. He's a wonderful actor.

Anyway Andy - don't yell! I already filed them down. A couple of nails were ragged. It was kind of fun, in a necrophile sort of way.
