It's Getting Dark In That Closet

.
Did y'all hear that over the weekend Noted Homosexual Luke Evans (cue the terribly misguided comments from people so terribly offended that a Noted Homosexual such as myself would dare to called a Noted Homosexual something so terrible as a Noted Homosexual) was announced as the winner of the great big "Play The Crow" contest that Hollywood's been playing for the past several weeks? Noted Brings-His-Mother-To-All-The-Awards-Shows Bradley Cooper was attached for awhile, then dropped it; then there were whispers about Tom Hiddleston and Alexander Skarsgard (the only whispers I want about Tom Hiddleston and Alexander Skarsgard involve a sex tape). But in the end, it was Luke Evans who came out (ha) on top (double ha). Now we wait to see if any reporters will actually do their job or not.

I'm not sure how I feel about this casting news. And it has nothing to do with Evan's sexuality. I'm just not sure he's edgy enough for the role. Sure, his turn as the bad guy in yet another 'furious' movie we didn't need may change my mind a bit, but he just feels a little too clean cut. Only time will tell I guess.

Yeah, Hiddleston's the only name that's been attached to this that has made any sense to me.

I think what you meant to say in the end there was waiting to see if reporters actually getting to the bottom of this.

Ooh well played, Ryan; yes let's pretend I said that.

Outing closeted gays is detestable, they should be allowed to stew in their own self-hatred forever so that society and Hollywood can see that being gay is something to be ashamed of and something to look down upon. Right, Julianne Hough and Suki Waterhouse?

*this post is sarcastic*
