EW has up their casting picks for the roles in the oncoming film of the first book in Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy - be forewarned it's in one of those click-thru one-at-a-time galleries that are super-annoying - and mostly I was meh to their picks (They did NOT just mention Will Smith's daughter, ugh) but a couple hit me as smart choices.
I love Josh Hutcherson for Peeta, I think that'd be great and I hadn't thought of him for it. He was terrific in The Kids Are All Right. Also a surprising but great choice is Cillian Murphy for Cinna, Katniss' stylist and friend. I can totally see it. But best of all and never would've occured to me in a thouand years is Steve Martin for President Snow. YES. That is genius. Make that happen! It's a role that gets creepier and more horrible as the books go on, and Steve Martin would be amazing. Amazing!

Actually, I pictured a blonde dude as Cinna. But Cillian Murphy would still rock.

In my head, Cinna always looked like figure skater Evan Lysacek. Why, I have no idea
I always had Alan Cumming in my head for Cinna, but Cillian could actually be good. Interesting choice.
Please no, not Josh Hutcherson he doesn't even have blonde hair and if it was dyed blonde that would be just plain horrible. I don't think he is hot or cute either. I like the idea of Cillian Murphy as Cinna but no, the other two cannot be.
