Ballad Of The Old Broads

.

Oooh! Next Thursday, September 30th, at the 92YTribeca here in New York there's going to be a fun show called Hagsploitation, wherein the delightful genre of the Grand Dame Guignol film will be celebrated. You know, Bette Davis in Baby Jane, that sorta thing. Ladies age past their beauty prime and the ingenue roles dry up, so they slip into the wacky harridan slot, brandish an axe, dance in dolly dresses. Old bats in attics!

There will be clips and chatter and what's this? A little birdy's told me that Lorna Raver from Sam Raimi's Drag Me To Hell is going to be there to talk about that movie? Christ on a cracker!

You can check out about the show here. If you're here in New York next week this would be the place to be, y'all. Or else...

Don't say I didn't warn ya!
