The 80s Were A Hell Of A Drug

This is a thing that must be witnessed by all.

Just... wow. You have just witnessed a scene from the 1984 film Gimme an F. IMDb relates this epic's tale thus:

"Can a squad of misfit cheerleaders with an over-age trainer possibly win the big cheerleading competition? Looked down upon by the other teams, it will be an difficult. Their lack of skill and talent make it even harder."

How the "Footloose by way of After Dark magazine" moment seen above fits into that storyline would presumably take the unraveling of one of the most elaborately byzantine plot-structures ever crafted. For sure! I just gotta have it. (via) Let us never forget this nugget of wisdom:

"Remember, the longer you look, the better it gets.
And the better you look, the longer it gets."
Amen, sister friend.

This scene was one of those seminal moments in the formation of the gay man I am today. I saw it twice on cable back in the 80's, and I was convinced I must have imagined it. Thanks for posting this. Oh, it takes me back...
