Quote of the Day

.
"There is going to be a Jurassic Park IV. And it's going to be unlike anything you've seen... It breaks away from the first three — it's essentially the beginning of the second Jurassic Park trilogy. It's going to be done in a completely different way. That's pretty much all I can tell you."

That's the director of Jurassic Park 3 and the upcoming Wolf Man movie, Joe Johnston, via Slash. If y'all recall I've been on-board with another Jurassic forever. Ever since the third film came out, and sure, disappointed, but it still had fucking dinosaurs rampaging, so it wasn't all bad. Yes, I am a whore for dinos, and I don't care if it's a bad movie or not, really. I'd prefer a good film like the first one and like 3/4s of the second one was, of course. But it's a franchise I will watch them do anything with. (Although the dinos-with-lasers concept did have me slightly troubled.) Johnston said all this back in November, too. I don't care. Give me fucking dinosaurs and I will be happy. Nothing hits my sweet spot the same way. Well... Jake could be naked riding the back of a dinosaur. That might hit it harder.

JP3 was an abomination.

I know. It actually gets worse every time I watch it! But I keep watching it because FUCKING DINOSAURS. Well, they aren't fucking, that is. That'd be a little too much, even for me, extreme dinosaur enthusiast. But I've watched Part 3 way more times than I could ever justify. I keep hoping that Tia Leoni will be eaten every time. But then Allesandro Nivola shows up in his tight tee (mmmm) and his strangely homo relationship with Sam Neill and I am okay for a bit.

"Harder" being the operative word.
