I'm stumped, I'll tell you! I love/hate this 5FF feature since you started it. It's brilliant and a complete brain squeezer -- I know my movies but I've guessed few correctly (so I guess that means you're rockin'!) Not to make this a completely fruitless comment, I am indeed super psyched about LOST and would happily vote to cancel the Olympics coverage to see the final 16 episodes uninterrupted. Love the Last Supper promo shot -- especially Locke's omnipotent smirk. Happy New Year!

There Will Be Blood?

dashdog, Happy New Year to you! Glad you're enjoying the series.

misfit, a good guess, but not it. Looking at the pictures again I can totally see why you thought it could be though, and partnered along with my prev. post where I talked about looking for something DDL related I can see how I maybe hinted in that direction myself. I was actually looking for pictures from a DDL movie for today's post-of-this-sort, but couldn't find them, so this is not a DDL movie here.

Australia?

This one looks so familiar...

actually, I was't sure (hence the question mark), bur there were many other times when I didn't say a thing because I was ashamed of guessing only to find out later that my guess was correct ("El Topo" comes to my mind now), so I just decided to guess anyway :)

(btw, I've loved your blog for more than two years now, but this was my first comment here)

Not Australia anonymous, but that's another one I can see there. I went outta my way to pick tough frames that don't a lot away here and these could really belong to many films. I think I might have to add more soon, but we'll see.

misfit, guess! I love that you guessed! I wish everyone would guess a million times over, that's what makes these fun. And thanks for commenting, I hope to hear from you more! ;-)

Not it, remy.

Although you remind me I gotta watch that film again sometime soon. LOVE it.

This is REALLY buggin' me, JA. I was leaning towards a western like "The Proposition" or "The 3 Burials Of Erik Estrada" (ha) -- but I'm thinking it looks more like "Kingdom Of Heaven." Am I getting warmer?

Jason Adams said...

You are getting warmer, dashdog. It's not KoH but you're thinking in the right direction.

Or "Troy."

Jason Adams said...

Troy for the win!

Awesome! I'll take my "all expenses paid dream date with Josh Harnett" prize now...

Jason Adams said...

Ha! I'm sorry, but he's all used up. ;-)

Omigawd, that's Troy?? You make it look like a much prettier, more interesting movie than it is.
