I've never seen Auntie Mame (bad gay!) but I figured this is the sort of thing that somebody might make me excited about.
So hey you, somebody - make me excited! It shouldn't take a lot of work - Tilda herself achieves 97% excitement saturation point all on her lonesome.
As a side-note, that article linked also offers up a tidbit on David Gordon Green's remake of Suspiria (apparently they share a production house) - they're moving ahead with it; it'll be filmed "next year." Kuh-razy!
And speaking of Suspiria! Dario Argento's original is playing on the big screen here in NYC this upcoming weekend! Cannot wait! Those colors will probably make me go blind and that's how I long to do that. Go blind, that is. That's the way. If you've gotta go blind. And we all do!

Bad remake idea. Period.
Although I'm not a big lover of Tilda [bad film fan] she wouldn't do too bad in a remake of this. Although if she does it I hope they don't update the period. Of the modern actresses only Tilda or Annette B. could do this role any justice and seeing that Beatty has Bening under house arrest...Tilda it is.
