What's "Real" Really

Do you think that anything in the above picture is real? I'd hazard to guess that no, not a single pixel of that image ever constituted anything anywhere outside of a computer screen. We really are just watching cartoons now, aren't we? It's a lovely shot, though, even if it's not so much a "shot" since no "camera" was ever aimed anywhere; a rectangle was just filled in.

There are a couple other new "shots" from The Golden Compass right here. I think they might even have real-life things in them. Maybe. 'Magine that.

That sounded a lot like complaining. :)

But yeah, it is a pretty still. Even if, yeah, it's completely computer-generated. But at least from that we can tell it's CGI is gonna be awesome, right?

I'm feeling terrifically complain-y right now, so my apologies. There's a monsoon outside and I just want to be in my bed being very lazy right now, so everything's gonna come off extra-bitchy for the rest of the day until I can realize my dream.
