Listening to a live mp3 the other night in which Sufjan Stevens introduced himself, I was taught the very important lesson that the "j" in his name is silent, and it's pronounced "Soo-fan". Huh.
Anyway, there's a great interview with Sufjan over at Radar that's made me love him even more, a feat I thought hardly possible. He disses Texas, says he wants to write a musical about the turnpikes of New Jersey, and calls Nick Drake "laughable."
I adore you, Sufjan.
