The boyfriend finally sent me some pics from the trip to Vieques, PR. I have more on my own unimpressive disposable camera, but god knows when I'll develop that thing, I usually have them sitting around for years before I do. Anyway, the boyfriend edited them down to nothing, sending me only the ones he deemed acceptable; I'm going to have to needle him for more since there isn't a one of him that he sent. He's a bit camera shy, the putz. Anyway, here a little taste of my trip.

This is the beach where we spent most of our time. God, I'm already forgetting what its name was. Anyway, this was a crowded day, if you look closely you can spot three people. To the right of the frame, not pictured, is about a quarter of a mile of the same white sands, and at the end another rock jutting out, kind of a miorror image of what you see here, basically. The waves at this beach were fantastic to body-surf on, except our last day which was after a storm, when they were insane and bashed us about like baby dolls.

This is me doing what I did when I wasn't in the water, which is playing dead in a hammock in the shade of some Sea Grape trees. This would be right behind the last picture, where the last picture was taken from. Oh sweet hammock, I miss thee.

This is in town, not far from where the ferry to the main island runs. The sky on this night was amazing, as you can see in the background. This was the night it stormed, I think. At about three in the morning there was the loudest bang of thunder I've ever heard in my life; everyone in the house leapt out of bed, it sounded like a bomb. Town was nice, usually pretty quiet. I think this was taken right after leaving a bar, the bar in the next picture, actually.

Aww, it's me! Looking all tanned and content. Also, probably drunk. This bar was a great place to watch the sunset from, obviously, we went here a couple nights. The drinks were strong. Very very strong. Just the way I like 'em.
Well, that's it for now. I will share more when I have more. Man, looking at these makes me want to go back something bad. Nice to know we've got friends with a house there, so it's entirely possible! Whoopie!
