Okay I thought this news sounded familiar so I went and checked and yes, I posted about it back in October -- but whatever, writing about it again allows me to post that photo of Billy Magnusson flexing in scrubs that he shared on his Insta earlier. Everybody wins. And it is an update on said earlier news -- we previously told you that Billy was going to star in the next horror-comedy from Suitable Flesh director Joe Lynch, which made us very happy because Suitable Flesh kicked ass (see my review right here.) It kicked ass and also -- Lynch showed a fine proclivity for getting his two sexy leading men (in that case Johnathon Schaech and Judah Lewis) outta their scrubs. The new movie is called Buzzkill and it's got a delightful fun plot which I'll allow Deadline to summarize:
"... billed as a monster movie with a boozy twist, Magnussen plays Sheriff Red, who while recently widowed and struggling with drinking too much, launches an investigation as townspeople begin turning up murdered and dismembered. He soon discovers that a horrifying creature is stalking the town — and can only be seen by the inebriated. With the annual brewery festival approaching and the entire town preparing for a weekend of heavy drinking, Red must confront his demons to save his town."
The new news that Deadline is sharing is the movie is indeed going forward as Bleecker Street Films have picked up the rights, and it'll be shooting in Texas at the start of next year for a 2027 drop. Oh and an actor named Lulu Wilson is splaying Billy's daughter (Billy enters DILF-land, huzzah!) -- Wilson has previously been seen in small roles in a couple of Mike Flanagan series on Netflix along with the films Becky and its sequel The Wrath of Becky, which... I have heard of? For some reason? I don't know why. Anybody familiar with the Becky-verse?

It is kinda wild how long it's been since he's gotten naked onscreen given he was out here flashing his dick in movies 15 years ago. At least he was kind enough to rock that speedo in Road House. And he posted ass on Instagram just two months ago so we know it's still a perfect beautiful amazing ass that he's not afraid to show off! HELP US, JOE LYNCH!!!
