François Civil Five Times

French actor François Civil is looking hotter than blazes on the cover of the French edition of GQ's "Men of the Year" issue -- if you can read French click here for the interview and tell me anything of interest he might say. He's not only one of their "Men of the Year" because he has aged up into such spectacular manly perfection -- although that clearly don't hurt -- but he's had his biggest career year ever, with the starring role of D'Artagnan in the new series of Three Musketeers movies that I've talked about previously due to the incredible volume of gallic heat contained within their cast. I wish these movies would get released here in the U.S. already! Until then we'll make have to due with these photos -- hit the jump for the rest...

I've been a fan since you drew my attention to him four years ago. Have seen a lot of his films now, several directed by Cédric Klapisch.

Charming actor, great smile, great voice, great hair. And the rest...

The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan is playing at about 20 theaters in the US right now. It doesn't seem like it will get a wide release since it was made available for streaming on the same day it went to theaters. You can watch it on Amazon Prime, YouTube/Google Play and Apple TV. François was great in it.

Here's a fun fact about the second part: François Civil and Ralph Amoussou played a gay couple in a 2009 short film against homophobia called "Omar" when they were teens. You can watch it on YouTube with English subtitles. Now they're playing musketeers in 'The Three Musketeers: Milady'. Unfortunately, nobody brought this up during the press tour in France this past week. Such a missed opportunity!
