Hello, good people of blog. I should've done this earlier today but in case you didn't notice -- it's been kind of quiet here today. That's because I'm not working today. Unexpectedly took the day off, and I mostly haven't been online. And I did try earlier to find some worthwhile picture with which to share this information, but didn't, not until Gilded Age actor Claybourne Elder shared these two photos on his Insta this afternoon. Then I knew the moment had come. (It wasn't the only thing!) These photos are from an old photo-shoot by the way -- see the other ones here, because obviously we posted them before. This is a good reminder that The Gilded Age is back on though, isn't it? I haven't had a chance to watch any, but I feel like I would know if my wish had come true and the show had finagled some way to have Claybourne and his co-star Morgan Spector make out, so I don't feel a big rush. I'll get there! But not before I get back to blogging tomorrow. See ya then!

The gay storyline is infinitesimal. And overall, though it has good acting and production design, is nothing new. It's set up as a series of challenges for the mains. And they get patted on the back after they succeed. Hopefully the challenges they have in the new season are more interesting.
