Another NYFF review from yours truly went up over the weekend -- click on over to The Film Experience to read my thoughts on Spain's Oscar submission for Best International Feature, Carla Simón’s lovely and elegiac film Alcarràs -- I loved her Summer 1993 a few years ago and this one, which broadens out her scope a wee bit, fulfills that one's promise for sure.
