"For me it's always Strangers on a Train that I thought of when I saw her. She's charming in Stage Fright but Strangers was the best role she had... It is too bad she didn't act more since she had a sure comic touch. But she can't be faulted for choosing to concentrate on raising her family, especially since she was always so willing to share her memories of her parents at any time.."--- That's reader Joel memorializing an MNPP Forever Fave with the death of Patricia Hitchcock, daughter to Alfred & Alma and an always welcome screen-presence that we totally adored. Il Vangelo Secondo Matteo
And in the original Italian no less! Good work, Anon -- it's "Il Vangelo Secondo Matteo" aka "The Gospel According to St Matthew" by Pasolini, excellent work or should I say lavoro eccellente!
Grazie Jason. Mi sono ricordato della torre.
You seem to post a lot of what is showing currently on the criterion app. :) Even tho I know that, I still suck at this.
Criterion Channel is a really good resource for these posts! This is a lot about how the sausage gets made, but CC is easy to search and they always have new content and MOST importantly they let you pause a movie and take a screen-grab without a bunch of bullshit popping up on the screen -- I can't use Netflix for these posts because you pause the movie on there and they blast the name of the movie across the screen when it's paused!
