Pics of the Day

Today marks fifty-seven days until Robert Eggers' The Northman hits theaters on April the 22nd -- don't know about you but this is my most anticipated title of 2022 by a mile! Feels like I have been waiting for this one for ages -- let's hope the world can hold off on self-destructing at least for 57 more days, and then it can do whatever it wants. These pics come via IGN (thx Mac) where you can see a couple more too.

If you missed the pec-heavy trailer click here, or if you missed the uhh pec-heavy last photo released click here -- today's photos are tame, pec-wise anyway, compared to what we've been seeing, but worth sharing anyway because I'm very much fascinated by Eggers' continung commitment to period detail specifics. The finery on these costumes are really lovely if you click to embiggen. Here's to hoping the film's early calendar release doesn't have at least his costumer forgotten come awards-time since her work is very clearly something special.

Any word on Eggers' planned remake of "Nosferatu"? Has that bit the dust?

Haven't heard any updates on Nosferatu -- his answers with regards to it have waffled so far back and forth I don't know where it stands now, and I wouldn't be surprised if it went either way. If it happens or if it doesn't. But believe you me I will keep checking!
