Good Morning, World

I almost don't even want to post these gifs of Morgan Spector's brief "naked" scene in HBO's The Gilded Age this week because they shot the thing so pitifully and outrageously dark and they kept the camera so Austin-Powers-gag-shy that it annoys me, all of it annoys me. These gifs are way lightened up and yet look how dark it all is? But the power of Morgan Spector compels me. (In related news, aka in order to have actual news contained herein, Spector's just joined the already-stacked cast of the Boston Strangler movie that already had Keira Knightley, Alessandro Nivola, Chris Cooper, and his Gilded co-star Carrie Coon!) Anyway if you want to see Mr. Rebecca Hall here properly showing off all he has to show off click back to my old gratuitous post on the man -- there is so much to see that knowing what The Gilded Age is denying us only makes it all the worse. And then if you care to see the rest of this pitiful showing, it's right here on after the jump...

And here below is the moment that matters most lightened up even more -- maybe if I had a higher quality copy of the scene it wouldn't look so shit lightened up, but this is what i got. This is on Julian Fellowes though, not me. he had this happen. Fuck period appropriate darkness! Who do you think you are, Stanley Kubrick? Give us Soap Opera daylight-bright night shooting please.

and it's a female driven show. Yet she gets the nudity, not him. Big mistake, HBO. Huge!
