If you don't already follow me on Instagram -- now that Instagram exists again, that is -- I recommend you do! At least during film festivals when I have shit to post, that is. Like those videos and photos above of Tilda Swinton and director Apichatpong Weerasethakul talking their new film Memoria at the NYFF press conference this morning. (And I'll have more on that movie later this week.) Also on my Insta from the past couple of weeks -- the Power of the Dog crew, and the Tragedy of Macbeth crew. In a couple of days you'll see Pedro Almodovar on there, I promise! Anyway I didn't entirely realize (that is to say I didn't allow myself to realize) how much I missed these things over the last year and a half, but sitting there in the room with these actors and filmmakers has been such a balm, restoring a smidge at least of me to my former slightly-less-crazed self. Baby steps!
