All Signs Point To Northman

Some terribly exciting news for us to head into our weekends swinging in our side-saddles -- IndieWire is reporting that The Witch and The Lighthouse director Robert Eggers has just wrapped up filming on his third feature called The Northman, aka his Viking tale starring Alexander Skarsgard, Nicole Kidman, Claes Bang, Anya Taylor-Joy, Willem Dafoe, Ethan Hawke, and drumroll please motherfucking Bjork. (The Bjork news got leaked a few months back -- I would have loved to have been surprised about that.) Anyway I was just a couple days ago wondering what was up with this shoot -- despite my loud and lengthy and right-headed proclamations about plague safety I was really hoping shooting had found some way to continue on this... safely of course... and so the news that they have actually now managed to finish that part is making me giddy. Good things ahead, knock on Alexander Skarsgard's tight-whities. All this and The Stand starts in just six days!
