... you can learn from:
The Virgin Suicides (1999)
A happy 42 to Josh Hartnett today! When I wrote up my "Horror Actressing" piece on Eva Green the other week I ended up re-watching an episode of Penny Dreadful which was a real quick route back to reinvigorating my lust-crsh on Josh here...

He's so ridiculously beautiful on that show, and beautiful besides he actually gives a good performance too (sometimes it's one or the other with him) -- he and Eva had terrific chemistry. I wish I got to see him more often. IMDb tells me that he's been working but not in things I've even heard of -- like, did anyone watch his show Paradise Lost? I have no idea...
I started crushing on Josh when Faculty came out. (Till this day I really like that movie and Clea DuVall became my instant fashion icon). Virgin Suicides cemented his status as a heartthrob, but I was more mesmerized by the whole movie, Kiki and Sofia's world in general.
Long silence and then Lucky Number Slevin came, which surprised me really pleasantly. He had great chemistry with Lucy Liu.
Penny Dreadful, god, I miss that show so much. He was really good in it (and that man hardly ages, I might add).
RARE for white boy to age like wine. He is one that did.
