I don't really know why Kris Kristofferson came up in conversation several times over my last three months spent quarantined at home -- I only watched one movie (Heaven's Gate, written briefly about here) starring him -- but he did, and so it only seems right to mark this here 84th birthday of his with a Hotness poll. Could I have chosen a pair of movies wherein he actually looked somewhat different so this poll made more sense? I could have. But I didn't. Oh well. Vote!

He is in Alice doesn't live here anymore.
I voted for the one with grey hair. I have a thing for daddies.
I hate his acting. In every movie he's slow, dull, laconic, and barely registers an emotion. He sucks the energy out of the movie universe.
Since you didn't include The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With the Sea wherein you get pretty much the full Kristofferson I chose Convoy since he looked less dissipated but both that and Babs' Star is Born are cinematic trash.
Heaven's Gate wasn't as horrendously bad as I'd been led to believe it would be but slicing at least an hour and a half out of it would have helped tremendously.
I have to agree with the above poster though, he's not much of an actor.
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore is a marvelous movie and both he and Ellen Burstyn are terrific in it. The Playboy spread of Kristofferson and Sarah Miles au naturelle from Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea ended his marriage to Rita Coolidge and created any number of sex fantasies for gay men who were pretending to be straight at the time.
Furthermore, he's a rhodes scholar and is still a great singer. He wrote Me and Bobby McGee!
