Good Morning, World

.
I knew that there was something missing from the 2018 horror movie Marrowbone when I saw it. My review, which you can read here, is an exercise in vague absence -- there was just something I couldn't pinpoint that I felt the film needed... and now, two years later, our answer has revealed itself with the revelation of a deleted scene of the 1917 star George Mackay climbing naked into a bathtub. Obviously that was the answer. Add that back in and whammo, classic. Hit the jump for the rest of  what we're missing...

Beautiful lighting! Glad I get to enjoy without needing to know a thing about the movie.

Haha! Yay!

I posted a comment ages ago on a McKay post about this deleted scene.

Glad you found it.

Sigh... Hunkiness aside, McKay is currently my favorite young actor. I’ve been watching since he was a wee little one in the best adaptation of Peter Pan, the one no one saw in 2003.

Sigh again.
